An important part of any successful course are the many and varied activities we use to help students to learn and apply concepts.

A key component of my teaching is a long-running study abroad experience in London, England.

Since 2007, I have served as the Director of a local site of the National Writing Project at ECU.

Several of my teaching practices have been discussed in scholarly articles, or have been the focus of research projects.
